Do you know why the screw air compressor has insufficient displacement and low pressure? OPPAIR will tell you below

There are four common reasons for insufficient displacement and low pressure of screw air compressors:

1. There is no contact between the yin and yang rotors of the screw and between the rotor and the casing during operation, and a certain gap is maintained, so gas leakage will occur and the exhaust volume will be reduced

2. The displacement of the screw air compressor is proportional to the speed, and the speed and the speed will change with the change of voltage and frequency. When the voltage/frequency decreases, the exhaust volume will also decrease.

3. When the suction temperature of the screw air compressor increases or the resistance of the suction pipeline is too large, the exhaust volume will also decrease;

4. The cooling effect is not ideal, which will also lead to a reduction in the exhaust volume;

The above are the main reasons for the insufficient displacement of the screw air compressor. Solution:

1. Clean the air filter or replace the filter element, and regularly maintain the unit.

2. The oil and gas separator filter element is blocked, resulting in low exhaust volume. Regularly replace the oil and gas separator filter element

3. The failure of the pressure regulator leads to a decrease in the exhaust volume.

4. The failure of the intake valve leads to insufficient exhaust volume and low pressure. Regular inspections find problems and repair them in a timely manner.

5. Pipeline leakage. Check the pipelines, if any leakage is found, it should be dealt with in time.

6. Motor failure or bearing wear is also a cause of insufficient air compressor displacement and low pressure.
